Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Golden Square in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (668 females or 30.8%)
  • Education and Training (258 females or 11.9%)
  • Retail Trade (237 females or 10.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,163 females in total or 53.6% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Flora Hill - Quarry Hill - Spring Gully - Golden Gully employed 30.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 14.5% in Education and Training; and 12.2% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Golden Square and Flora Hill - Quarry Hill - Spring Gully - Golden Gully were:
