Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in City of Belmont in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (2,173 females or 21.5%)
  • Retail Trade (965 females or 9.5%)
  • Education and Training (957 females or 9.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 4,095 females in total or 40.5% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Belmont employed 20.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 10.3% in Retail Trade; and 9.1% in Education and Training.
