Dominant groups
Analysis of the car ownership of Greek speakers in Bayside Council in 2021 compared to Greater Sydney shows that 91.2% were in households that owned at least one car, while 8.0% did not, compared with 91.6% and 7.6% respectively in Greater Sydney.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion owned just one car; a similar proportion owned two cars; and a smaller proportion that owned three cars or more.
Overall, 30.0% of Greek speakers were in households that owned one car; 35.7% owned two cars; and 25.6% owned three cars or more, compared with 28.1%, 35.5% and 28.0% respectively for Greater Sydney.
