Dominant groups
Analysis of the number of bedrooms in dwellings for people aged 12 to 25 years in Bayside Council area in 2021 compared to Greater Sydney, shows that there was a higher proportion of people aged 12 to 25 years in dwellings with 2 bedrooms or less, and a lower proportion of dwellings with 4 or more bedrooms.
Overall, 33.7% of people aged 12 to 25 years were in dwellings with 2 bedrooms or less, and 29.5% in 4 or more bedroom dwellings, compared with 16.2% and 52.2% for Greater Sydney respectively.
The major differences between the number of bedrooms per dwelling people aged 12 to 25 years in Bayside Council area and Greater Sydney were:
