Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Warragul (North) in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (1,177 people or 16.6%)
  • Construction (889 people or 12.5%)
  • Education and Training (803 people or 11.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 2,869 people in total or 40.4% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Neerim South - Noojee and District employed 10.3% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.4% in Construction; and 8.2% in Education and Training.
