Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Bathurst Regional Council area in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (3,898 people or 19.1%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (3,068 people or 15.0%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (2,903 people or 14.2%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 9,869 people in total or 48.2% of the employed resident population.
