Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Rural Balance in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (182 females or 23.1%)
  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (97 females or 12.3%)
  • Education and Training (95 females or 12.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 374 females in total or 47.5% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Waterline (Westernport Townships) employed 22.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 4.5% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; and 9.8% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Rural Balance and Waterline (Westernport Townships) were:
