Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Angaston - Penrice and District in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Manufacturing (380 people or 23.3%)
- Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (168 people or 10.3%)
- Health Care and Social Assistance (163 people or 10.0%)
In combination, these three industries employed 711 people in total or 43.6% of the total employed resident population.
In comparison, Williamstown - Barossa Goldfields and District employed 12.3% in Manufacturing; 5.3% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; and 12.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance.
The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Angaston - Penrice and District and Williamstown - Barossa Goldfields and District were:
