Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Bundoora in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (745 people or 15.8%)
  • Construction (562 people or 11.9%)
  • Education and Training (477 people or 10.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,784 people in total or 37.9% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Banyule employed 16.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 9.2% in Construction; and 11.2% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Bundoora and the City of Banyule were:
