Dominant groups

Analysis of the qualifications of the female population in the City of Ballarat in 2021 compared to Regional VIC shows that there was a higher proportion of females holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications), and a lower proportion of females with no formal qualifications.

Overall, 52.5% of the female population aged 15 and over held educational qualifications, and 39.3% had no qualifications, compared with 49.3% and 40.7% respectively for Regional VIC.
