The size of the City of Ballarat's labour force aged 35 to 54 years in 2021 was 22,500 persons, of which 6,874 were employed part-time and 13,786 were full time workers.
Analysis of the employment status of people aged 35 to 54 years (as a percentage of the labour force) in the City of Ballarat in 2021 compared to Regional VIC shows that there was a similar proportion in employment, as well as a similar proportion unemployed. Overall, 96.5% of the labour force aged 35 to 54 years was employed (0.0% of the population aged 35 to 54 years), and 3.5% unemployed (0.0% of the population aged 35 to 54 years), compared with 96.9% and 3.1% respectively for Regional VIC.
