Analysis of the voluntary work performed by the male population in Regional Australia in 2021 compared to Regional SA shows that there was a lower proportion of males who volunteered for an organisation or group.
Overall, 14.7% of the male population reported performing voluntary work, compared with 20.4% for Regional SA.
The number of male volunteers in Regional Australia decreased by 17,720 males between 2006 and 2021.
