Analysis of the voluntary work performed by the male population in New South Wales in 2021 compared to Tasmania shows that there was a lower proportion of males who volunteered for an organisation or group.
Overall, 12.0% of the male population reported performing voluntary work, compared with 16.6% for Tasmania.
The number of male volunteers in New South Wales increased by 2,767 males between 2006 and 2021.
