Dominant groups

Analysis of the qualifications of the male population in Greater Darwin in 2021 compared to Greater Perth shows that there was a lower proportion of males holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications), as well as a lower proportion of males with no formal qualifications.

Overall, 55.6% of the male population aged 15 and over held educational qualifications, and 32.6% had no qualifications, compared with 57.8% and 34.1% respectively for Greater Perth.
