Analysis of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander household income levels in the City of Armadale in 2021 compared to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander household income levels in Greater Perth shows that there was a smaller proportion of high income households (those earning $3,000 per week or more) and a higher proportion of low income households (those earning less than $800 per week).
Overall, 15.0% of the households earned a high income, and 22.6% were low income households, compared with 19.4% and 21.7% respectively for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander households in Greater Perth.
