Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Middleton and District in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (104 people or 13.6%)
  • Construction (91 people or 11.9%)
  • Education and Training (91 people or 11.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 286 people in total or 37.4% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Goolwa - Goolwa Beach employed 17.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.0% in Construction; and 6.4% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Middleton and District and Goolwa - Goolwa Beach were:
