Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Albury City in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (2,298 males or 17.4%)
  • Manufacturing (1,675 males or 12.7%)
  • Retail Trade (1,183 males or 9.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 5,156 males in total or 39.1% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Regional NSW employed 16.1% in Construction; 8.2% in Manufacturing; and 7.5% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Albury City and Regional NSW were:
