Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Albury City in 2021 compared to Springdale Heights shows that 87.3% of the households owned at least one car, while 7.1% did not, compared with 87.6% and 5.3% respectively in Springdale Heights.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a smaller proportion who owned just one car; a similar proportion who owned two cars; and a larger proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 36.7% of the households owned one car; 34.7% owned two cars; and 15.8% owned three cars or more, compared with 38.9%; 34.6% and 14.1% respectively for Springdale Heights.
