Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Stirling in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (243 people or 16.3%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (222 people or 14.9%)
  • Education and Training (178 people or 12.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 643 people in total or 43.2% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Crafers - Crafers West - Cleland employed 17.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 13.4% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; and 13.1% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Stirling and Crafers - Crafers West - Cleland were:

  • A larger percentage of persons employed in accommodation and food services (7.3% compared to 5.7%)
  • A larger percentage of persons employed in professional, scientific and technical services (14.9% compared to 13.4%)
  • A smaller percentage of persons employed in construction (5.1% compared to 7.5%)
