Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Werribee in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (2,743 males or 22.4%)
  • Machinery Operators And Drivers (2,109 males or 17.2%)
  • Professionals (1,817 males or 14.8%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 6,669 males in total or 54.5% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Point Cook - North East employed 18.5% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 12.6% in Machinery Operators And Drivers; and 23.6% in Professionals.
