Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Point Cook - East in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (660 males or 13.2%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (648 males or 12.9%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (470 males or 9.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,778 males in total or 35.5% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Werribee South - Cocoroc employed 20.6% in Construction; 2.6% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; and 8.8% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing.
