Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Woodville in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (120 males or 13.0%)
  • Construction (97 males or 10.5%)
  • Manufacturing (87 males or 9.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 304 males in total or 33.0% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Werribee South - Cocoroc employed 8.8% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing; 20.6% in Construction; and 6.8% in Manufacturing.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Woodville and Werribee South - Cocoroc were:
