Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Werribee in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (2,091 males or 17.1%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (1,554 males or 12.7%)
  • Manufacturing (1,106 males or 9.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 4,751 males in total or 38.8% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Point Cook - North East employed 12.7% in Construction; 11.2% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing; and 8.5% in Manufacturing.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Werribee and Point Cook - North East were:
