The size of Point Cook - East's labour force in 2021 was 9,802, of which 2,667 were employed part-time and 5,933 were full time workers.
Analysis of the employment status (as a percentage of the labour force) in Point Cook - East in 2021 compared to the City of Wyndham shows that there was a similar proportion in employment, as well as a similar proportion unemployed. Overall, 93.7% of the labour force was employed, and 6.3% unemployed, compared with 93.2% and 6.8% respectively for the City of Wyndham.
