Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in North Bondi in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (526 males or 20.8%)
  • Financial and Insurance Services (326 males or 12.9%)
  • Construction (261 males or 10.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,113 males in total or 44.1% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Waverley Council area employed 20.0% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 13.0% in Financial and Insurance Services; and 11.2% in Construction.

The major difference between the jobs held by the male population of North Bondi and Waverley Council area was:

  • A smaller percentage of males employed in accommodation and food services (4.1% compared to 5.2%)
