North Manly is bounded by William Street, Short Street and Wattle Road in the north, Harbord Road, Wyadra Avenue, Ozone Street, Marlborough Road, Waiwera Avenue and Pittwater Road in the east, Manly Creek and Brookvale Creek in the south, and Condamine Street in the west.

Settlement history

Settlement of the area dates from 1818 when the first land grant was made. Growth was minimal until the 1880s, with expansion during the interwar period. Significant development occurred in the post-war years, especially during the 1950s and 1960s, including the construction of medium density housing. The population increased gradually from the early 1990s as new dwellings were added to the area.
