Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Wagga Wagga City in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (4,282 females or 26.2%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (3,259 females or 20.0%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (2,967 females or 18.2%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 10,508 females in total or 64.4% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Lake Albert employed 25.7% in Professionals; 18.5% in Community and Personal Service Workers; and 24.4% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Wagga Wagga City and Lake Albert were:
