Overall, 27.9% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 11.2% were one-parent families, compared with 37.0% and 6.6% respectively for Rural West.
There were a higher proportion of lone person households and a lower proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 26.2% compared to 17.9% in Rural West while the proportion of couples without children was 24.8% compared to 29.2% in Rural West.
