Dominant groups

Analysis of the families with children in Wagga Wagga City in 2021 compared to Regional NSW shows that there was a larger proportion of couples with young children, and a similar proportion of couples with older children.

Overall, 16.0% of total households with children were couple with young children, and 7.4% were couples with older children, compared with 13.4% and 7.7% respectively for Regional NSW.
