Dominant groups

In 2016, there were 13,969 people who caught public transport to work (train, bus, tram or ferry) in Eastern Region Alliance area, compared with 97,095 who drove in private vehicles (car – as driver, car – as passenger, motorbike, or truck).

Analysis of the method of travel to work of the residents in Eastern Region Alliance area in 2016, compared to City of Unley, shows that 10.0% used public transport, while 69.5% used a private vehicle, compared with 11.0% and 62.1% respectively in City of Unley.

The major differences in persons between the method of travel to work of Eastern Region Alliance area and City of Unley were:
