Dominant groups
In 2021, there were 893 females who caught public transport to work (train, bus, tram or ferry) in City of Unley, compared with 5,460 who drove in private vehicles (car – as driver, car – as passenger, motorbike, or truck).
Analysis of the method of travel to work of the female residents in the City of Unley in 2021, compared to Greater Adelaide, shows that 8.9% used public transport, while 54.0% used a private vehicle, compared with 7.1% and 64.1% respectively in Greater Adelaide.
The major differences in females between the method of travel to work of the City of Unley and Greater Adelaide were:
- A larger percentage of females who worked at home (14.4% compared to 10.6%)
- A larger percentage of females who travelled by bicycle (2.9% compared to 0.5%)
- A larger percentage of females who walked only (4.1% compared to 2.0%)
