Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Eastern Region Alliance area in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (36,616 people or 34.9%)
  • Managers (15,549 people or 14.8%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (13,346 people or 12.7%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 65,511 people in total or 62.4% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Goodwood Ward employed 38.9% in Professionals; 14.6% in Managers; and 11.5% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.
