Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Black Forest in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (188 people or 17.6%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (110 people or 10.3%)
  • Education and Training (107 people or 10.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 405 people in total or 38.0% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Unley employed 18.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 13.0% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; and 10.8% in Education and Training.
