Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Malvern in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (123 males or 17.0%)
- Health Care and Social Assistance (95 males or 13.2%)
- Retail Trade (59 males or 8.2%)
In combination, these three industries employed 277 males in total or 38.4% of the total employed male resident population.
In comparison, the City of Unley employed 15.2% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 12.0% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 7.5% in Retail Trade.
The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Malvern and the City of Unley were:
