Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Goodwood in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (268 people or 17.3%)
  • Education and Training (196 people or 12.6%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (190 people or 12.2%)

In combination, these three industries employed 654 people in total or 42.1% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, South Australia employed 16.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 8.8% in Education and Training; and 6.2% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Goodwood and South Australia were:
