Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Malvern in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (253 people or 18.6%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (186 people or 13.7%)
  • Retail Trade (124 people or 9.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 563 people in total or 41.5% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Parkside employed 18.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 15.0% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; and 8.2% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Malvern and Parkside were:
