Dominant groups

Analysis of individual income levels in Malvern in 2021 compared to Wayville shows that there was a higher proportion of people earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) as well as a higher proportion of low income people (those earning less than $500 per week).

Overall, 27.0% of the population earned a high income, and 28.6% earned a low income, compared with 19.5% and 26.3% respectively for Wayville.

The major differences between Malvern's individual incomes and Wayville's individual incomes were:
