Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Goodwood in 2021 compared to Hyde Park shows that 88.8% of the households owned at least one car, while 8.2% did not, compared with 92.3% and 5.2% respectively in Hyde Park.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a smaller proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 44.9% of the households owned one car; 33.7% owned two cars; and 10.3% owned three cars or more, compared with 39.9%; 36.7% and 15.7% respectively for Hyde Park.
