Dominant groups

Analysis of the need for assistance of people in the City of Unley compared to the City of Unley shows that there was a lower proportion of people who reported needing assistance with core activities.

Overall, 5.7% of the population reported needing assistance with core activities, compared with 6.2% for the City of Unley.

The major differences in the age groups reporting a need for assistance in Eastern Region Alliance area and the City of Unley were:

  • A smaller percentage of persons aged 85 and over (52.6% compared to 60.2%)
  • A smaller percentage of persons aged 80 to 84 (26.8% compared to 28.4%)

Emerging groups
