Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Harristown in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (283 males or 15.4%)
  • Manufacturing (212 males or 11.6%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (189 males or 10.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 684 males in total or 37.3% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Top Camp - Hodgson Vale and District employed 19.1% in Construction; 8.2% in Manufacturing; and 6.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance.
