Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Wilsonton in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (439 people or 18.0%)
  • Retail Trade (272 people or 11.2%)
  • Manufacturing (229 people or 9.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 940 people in total or 38.5% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Greenmount - Nobby and District employed 13.0% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 8.2% in Retail Trade; and 4.8% in Manufacturing.
