Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Dernancourt in 2016 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (252 people or 15.2%)
  • Education and Training (193 people or 11.6%)
  • Retail Trade (158 people or 9.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 603 people in total or 36.4% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Tea Tree Gully employed 14.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 9.3% in Education and Training; and 11.4% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Dernancourt and the City of Tea Tree Gully were:
