Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in Wynn Vale in 2016 compared to the City of Tea Tree Gully shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 33.3% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 13.6% were one-parent families, compared with 32.6% and 11.1% respectively for the City of Tea Tree Gully.

There were a lower proportion of lone person households and a similar proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 20.4% compared to 22.0% in the City of Tea Tree Gully while the proportion of couples without children was 28.7% compared to 28.9% in the City of Tea Tree Gully.
