Dominant groups
In 2021, there were 709 females who caught public transport to work (train, bus, tram or ferry) in Redfern Street Village Area, compared with 752 who drove in private vehicles (car – as driver, car – as passenger, motorbike, or truck).
Analysis of the method of travel to work of the female residents in Redfern Street Village Area in 2021, compared to Elizabeth Bay, shows that 10.8% used public transport, while 11.2% used a private vehicle, compared with 6.3% and 10.1% respectively in Elizabeth Bay.
The major differences in females between the method of travel to work of Redfern Street Village Area and Elizabeth Bay were:
