Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Chippendale in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (849 females or 41.3%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (314 females or 15.3%)
  • Managers (264 females or 12.8%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,427 females in total or 69.3% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Haymarket employed 25.3% in Professionals; 11.4% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 10.6% in Managers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Chippendale and Haymarket were:
