Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Haymarket in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (1,076 people or 26.6%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (563 people or 13.9%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (493 people or 12.2%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 2,132 people in total or 52.8% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Glebe - Forest Lodge employed 45.7% in Professionals; 7.2% in Community and Personal Service Workers; and 5.5% in Technicians and Trades Workers.
