Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Chinatown and CBD South Village Area in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Accommodation and Food Services (2,523 people or 23.6%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (1,426 people or 13.3%)
  • Financial and Insurance Services (1,020 people or 9.5%)
