Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Potts Point in 2021 compared to Glebe Point Road Village Area shows that 46.9% of the households owned at least one car, while 47.7% did not, compared with 60.9% and 31.4% respectively in Glebe Point Road Village Area.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a smaller proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a smaller proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 38.2% of the households owned one car; 7.2% owned two cars; and 1.6% owned three cars or more, compared with 46.0%; 12.5% and 2.5% respectively for Glebe Point Road Village Area.
