Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in Sutherland in 2021 compared to Oyster Bay shows that there was a lower proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 22.4% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 10.8% were one-parent families, compared with 53.7% and 7.8% respectively for Oyster Bay.
