Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Coastal Mid in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (155 people or 16.1%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (146 people or 15.2%)
  • Education and Training (95 people or 9.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 396 people in total or 41.2% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Shoalhaven City employed 11.9% in Construction; 16.0% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 8.3% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Coastal Mid and Shoalhaven City were:
